1. Do Tough Things

Teacher: Amy Cunningham & Amber Cain

Description:  Adult expectations for students are too low. Don't adapt to the low cultural expectations for you. Set high ones. Students can become examples for adults. Think that way. Dream that way. Rebel against low expectations.

2. Experiencing Christ: Connecting

Teacher: Michael Cisler

Description: What is the cost of loving people like Jesus? How do I love flawed people? How do I tell people hard truths about themselves? How can forgiveness help me love well?  What does the cross have to do with loving others? This class will take you beyond the feeling of love and into the difficult yet rewarding decision to put love into action.

3. Experiencing Christ: Growing

Teacher: Andy Cisneros

Description: What is discipleship and why would I want to live like Jesus? How do I love God when my life feels empty? How do I slow down enough to recognize Jesus working in my life?  Students want to be disciples, but they need direction on exactly how to start living the lives that Jesus has planned for them. We’ll help you develop the tools and attitudes you need to make sense of what God is calling you to do right now, right where you are.

4. Experiencing Christ: Serving

Teacher: Bethany Myers

Description: We’ll give you chances to discover your gifts, build friendships inside and outside the class, and refocus your priorities on something larger than yourselves. We’ll tackle issues like redefining what it means to be successful, learning to serve God by serving His people, seeing need and taking action, relying on the Holy Spirit to direct and fuel service, and discovering the joy of helping difficult people

5. Experiencing Christ: Sharing

Teacher: Rebecca Dauksas

Description: How do I make evangelism a part of my relationship with God? What does it mean to be the body of Christ when it comes to evangelism? How did Jesus spread the good news? Why did Jesus say to go out in pairs? What's the connection to how I talk to people about Jesus? What do I do when I encounter people who make me uncomfortable? We want to give you the tools to talk about Jesus with your friends, family, and the world.

6. Experiencing Christ: Surrendering

Teacher: John Wincapaw

Description:  How do I trust God when everything seems to be falling apart? How do I let go of my goals and discover what God wants me to do? How do I become great in God’s eyes? How do I respond to Christ for everything He’s done for me? How can I do God’s will when it makes the least sense? Lifelong faith is the result of yielding to Jesus at every turn. Surrendering to Jesus will help your kids discover the reckless freedom that comes when self-sufficiency is abandoned.

A. Finding Your Path

Teacher: Julie Driskill

Description: This class is designed to challenge, inspire, and equip you for lives of purpose and achievement. We’ll help you identify your personality type, core values, key talents, vision and mission in life.

B. Overcoming the Darkness

Teacher: Dale & Julie Bliss

Description: Everyone struggles with additions.  From alcohol to sugar...from porn to texting...anything we use to escape a reality we don’t like can become an addition.  How can you help your friends or yourself overcome addictive tendencies or full-grown additions?  This class will help you understand how additions start, how they hang on, and what Jesus Christ has done to help us overcome.

C. The Best Question Ever

Teacher: John Welch

Description: We've all made dumb decisions. No matter who you are, this is something we all share in common. There are purchases we wish we hadn't made, loans we regret signing up for, people we wish we hadn't dated, parties we wish we hadn't gone to, jobs we wish we hadn't taken...the list goes on. Imagine if we could learn to see clearly before we make some of our dumb decisions? Well, not only is that something we desire, it's what God wants for us as well.

D. Service: A Life After God’s Own Heart

Teacher: Hope Fletcher, Drew McAlister, Kim Musch

Description: It seems like these days we have less and less time to serve, with school, sports, work and everything else, who can find the time?  In this class we’ll spend the week discovering ways that you can serve people at home, both in large ways and small ways.  Be prepared to put your skills to the test as we participate in real projects at FUEL and develop plans to continue serving at home.
