So, what is Quizzing?

Quizzing is a knowledge-based quiz competition in which students memorize, study, and answer questions about a particular section of Scripture selected by the Quizzing director in January.  The competition held in July is one of

the exciting elements during the week of FUEL and is intended to emphasize the important role God's Word can play in people's lives.

The competition involves several matches of two or three teams from different states vying to answer questions from the selected text.  To answer a question, a quizzer must be the first to jump from his seat and then only has

thirty seconds to complete the question and provide the correct response.  If correct, his team earns twenty points.

Trophies are awarded to the top three teams and the top five individuals each year.  The top five individual quizzers, known as the All-Stars, have received other prizes and a $500 scholarship to Atlanta Bible College in addition to

their trophies.
