March 25-27, 2010
It's winter now, but spring is not far away, and with spring comes the Atlanta Bible College Invitational. ABC-i gives students (9th grade and up) the chance to visit ABC, meet instructors and students, sit in on a class or two, volunteer in the community, engage in worship, and spend time with new and old friends. This year, the theme is Consumed.
This year, we've made some changes to the basic program. The end of our use of the Morrow campus meant a search for a new housing plan for the ABC Invitational. After exploring several options, we've decided to make use of the Calvin Center near Hampton, GA. This retreat center will be our main location, though we will spend time in McDonough at ABC and at Cornerstone Bible Church. We are planning to have a service project in the McDonough-Hampton area, as well.
With the new location comes a new price. It is now $75 (the same price as both reFUEL and Refuge this year), which goes to lodging and food. We will take up a couple lodges at Calvin Center, and students will have adult supervision in each lodge. We will have a guest worship band from the Maple Grove Community Church in Kokomo, IN, leading us in worship, and we will also hear from ABC students past & present as they teach the Word. Participants will get challenged to be in ministry no matter what field they choose to work in, and they will get a chance to see how ABC might prepare them to do so.
I hope you will consider attending ABC-i, promoting it with your students and fellow workers, and/or support the weekend with prayer.
Join us and seek direction as to where God may be leading you.
